I’ve become obsessed…

With spray paint. First it was Maggie’s bookshelf, then her lamps, and now it’s soup cans. I’ve painted this one with white enamel and I love it. Not quite sure what it’ll end up being — a Mexican-style luminary, a pencil holder? — but I do know I’ll be painting more ’cause it’s just plain fun to spary paint stuff. And I think it looks nice.

We buy a lot of bulk…thinking of fun things to do with the giant cans we get from the restaurant supply store! or even the range of sizes.
Its a clean industrial look, but at the same time a little primitive. Brilliant!
I’m glad I’m not the only one to be struck by this. I can’t pass a can in the supermarket without judging it’s paint-worthiness.
