pretend soup

You know… one of my favorite things about summer time is all those quietly industrious moments where kids do their incredibly child-like things. I think the kids had gathered into a coordinated group of about seven or eight to create this pretend soup concoction.

If you aren’t familiar with it, you should check out the children’s cookbook by Mollie Katzen & Ann Henderson: Pretend Soup. Great for introducing young’uns to the kitchen arts.
