Resolutions

These are mine for 2007:
Absorb. Just soak it all in. I am convinced that there is reason behind all my lists, and stacks of reference books & magazines.
Learn. Learn to sew. Learn to take proper photographs. Learn publishing. Learn patience.
Focus. Focus on what matters. Be wholly there and engaged.
Create.

I love your post and your photo. It calms me just looking at it. Not sure if you say our new year’s resolution post, but it asked for a one word resolution for 2007. I chose “savor,” which I do too infrequently these days.
Thanks! I spent a good long time going through iPhoto looking for *just the right picture* — this one is from our trip back to New York this summer. We’d gone to my friend’s house on Shelter Island — a truly lovely & peaceful place. If you follow the pavers around the bend you come to an open yard overlooking the bay. In the yard are a bunch of kids running, skipping, yelling and laughing, and a bunch of old high-school friends who can’t believe they are the grown-ups now.
