M made this dress with her Grandma TODAY. My friend, Elizabeth, gave us the fabric a couple months ago. The top part is shirred and the rest drapes down naturally. M used a sewing machine to sew the seam all the way down the back and to hem the bottom. Her grandmother helped with the ribbon tie at the top, which is made from the extra fabric. I am so impressed with them!
